‘Pimp’ your Profile – We’re doing a Deal ;)

Pimp Your Profile

There’s a flood of new faces in Reflect Growth’s community at the moment which is fantastic. Welcome! We’re nearly at 200 users (woot!). Keep sharing and promoting the community by taking part in the conversations found in the forums and spreading the word.  There’s one thing we’ve noticed however….  that some of these faces mostly look like…

Are you smiling at us or just a mystery?

….a sea of “mystery men” –  Instead of your lovely faces.

Have you considered the importance of your on-line presence?  Of your digital footprint and how Reflect Growth’s community might help to showcase and support your online professional profile? Have you considered how powerful seeing a face you can connect with is to someone who’s looking to find collegial relationships to nurture?   I know that I have gone through some “growth” when it comes to my online identity as a teacher.

When you attend a meet-up and know who you are talking to, because you’ve seen their face on-line

, how much easier is it to extend that connection to the ‘real world’ and develop it further? If you’ve completed your profile information, how much easier will it be for people to connect with you, to seek you out because you have something in common?

To encourage you to develop these connections a little more we thought we’d remind you about HOW to set up your profile.  That’s your pictures, your information – your online presence.  We also thought that we’d reward you with some bonus points if you take the time to develop that identity and share your information with others.

Here’s a video to help you be less mysterious! Feel free to ask @selena or @matt if you need any help – or use the comments below 🙂
